Impact: Every year, PIND directly impacts the lives of 100,000 people in the Niger Delta region (including small holders’ farmers, and micro, small, medium enterprises, households and coastal communities members). Over 2 million people per year benefit indirectly from PIND’s work in the 9 states of the Niger Delta through the market system development (MSD), peace-building, and access to energy projects and youth employment pathways projects PIND’s impact includes sustained reductions in poverty and conflict, successful advocacy with governments to influence policies and practices around economic development, peacebuilding, and capacity building of key individuals and institutions. Also, strong convening and crowding-in of grant and investment funding and activities into the region to address development issues
